About Reingold

Reingold is a full-service marketing and creative firm in Alexandria, VA. For more than 40 years, we’ve been driven by a simple mission: to help organizations –– whether in the government, nonprofit, or business sector –– as they strive to make the world a better place. We hire top-notch talent to develop and launch compelling, inventive communications campaigns, leveraging the latest technology and digital media strategies that enable our clients to meet their audiences where they are.

We’re proud to say we’ve built a team of curious, passionate pros — from marketers and tech wizards to designers and strategists — who love what they do and bring their A-game every day. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We believe great ideas come from collaboration, humor, and a little bit of fun along the way.

When you work at Reingold, you get more than a job, you get a community. We offer competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, a dynamic hybrid work environment, a vibrant workplace and growth opportunities in a variety of specialty areas. That means when we find great people (and they find us), they stick around for the long term.

That's where you come in. We’re looking for digital marketer who has experience executing various digital outreach tactics— paid media, email marketing, search engine optimization among others. You’ll help execute campaigns end to end for a mix of government, nonprofit, and association clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort juggling several client accounts at once, and the curiosity to learn a new platform when the work calls for it.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week on site at Reingold’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Here’s the work you’ll do:

Essential Functions:
  • Build, traffic, and QA paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic partners, and keep them optimized day to day — bid and budget pacing, audience and placement adjustments, negative keyword maintenance, and creative rotation.
  • Monitor paid spend against flighted budgets and flag pacing risks early, before they become client conversations.
  • Build, test, and deploy email campaigns — including list segmentation, suppression rules, automated journeys, and triggered sends — in platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign.
  • QA every send before it goes out: rendering across clients and devices, link and UTM accuracy, personalization tokens, accessibility, and deliverability checks.
  • Run A/B tests across paid and email — subject lines, send times, ad copy, creative, landing pages — and document what you learn so the next campaign starts smarter.
  • Conduct keyword research, entity and topic analysis, and competitive review to inform both organic content and paid strategy.
  • Track rankings, organic traffic, AI citations, and overall channel performance; investigate movement and explain what caused it and make recommendations for optimizing client content for search engine
  • Participate in client calls, take accurate notes, and follow through on action items without needing a reminder.
  • Integrate AI into the daily workflow where appropriate, to streamline processes and strengthen insights.
  • Track billable time accurately across multiple client accounts and consistently hit deadlines in a fast-moving agency environment.
This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time.

This role is a good fit for someone with these qualifications, experience and skills:

Required Qualifications:
  • At least one to three years of hands-on digital marketing experience in an agency or in-house setting; relevant internship experience may count toward this.
  • Direct experience running or supporting live campaigns in several focus areas — paid media, email marketing, or SEO — and real interest in building depth iacross them.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including how to build a campaign, not just read a report about one.
  • Familiarity with GA4 and Google Search Console.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets — pivot tables, lookups, and turning messy exports into a clean report.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, and the ability to explain a technical concept to someone who doesn't work in marketing.
  • A genuine eye for detail — you catch the broken link, the wrong UTM, and the misspelled subject line before the client does.
  • Ability to manage several concurrent projects and shifting priorities without losing track of the details.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
  • Basic HTML and CSS for troubleshooting email templates and making landing page edits.
  • Exposure to programmatic, CTV, or paid social channels beyond Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager or a comparable tag management platform.
  • Hands-on GEO/AEO experience: implementing structured data, building answer-shaped or entity-rich content, prompt-set testing, or citation tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or AI Overviews.
  • Experience with AI visibility or brand-monitoring tools built for generative search, or with the newer GEO modules in platforms like Semrush and Ahrefs.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work environment and physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
